Method of Recruitment: By direct recruitment on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in a competitive examination (Written and Viva-Voce) conducted by the High Court
Application Fee : Preliminary Examination, payable by each candidate is Rs.250/- (Rupees Tow Hundred and Fifty only). In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fees payable shall be Rs.125/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Five only). The fee should be remitted into any of the State Government Treasuries under the Head �0070-Other Administrative Services-01- Administration of Justice-501-0-01-Services and Service Fees-03- Examination Fees and the original Treasury receipt obtained thereof should be sent along with the application. Applications received without such fee receipt shall be rejected. Main Examination, payable by each candidate who is successful in the Preliminary Examination and eligible to appear for the Main Examination is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only). However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Cat-I, the fees payable shall be Rs.250/- (Rupees Two hundred and Fifty only). The Main Examination Fee should also be remitted into any of the State Government Treasuries under the same head of Account referred to above and the original Treasury receipt obtained thereof should be sent to the office of the Secretary, Civil Judges Recruitment Committee, High Court of Karnataka, High Court Buildings, Bangalore-560 001; within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of announcing the result of the Preliminary Examination, failing which, their candidature will not be considered for Main Examination.
